18thc.  Exhibition Case

Diameter 58 mm, inner bezel diameter 50 mm, inner depth to bezel 26 mm.

Gilt brass, with shagreen covering to bezels and glazed exhibition back.

The shagreen is in poor condition with large sections missing to both bezels. The catch is complete but the rivet holding the spring is loose so the bezel does not snap shut. The hinge and catch button on fine. The high dome bull’s eye crystal has one tiny chip on the edge but is otherwise fine.
