Cylinder movement by Brockbanks, London, c1810

Good London cylinder movement with fine dial and hands, circa 1810.

MOVEMENT : Gilded movement, cylinder escapement with 15 tooth brass escape wheel, decoratively engraved balance cock with diamond endstone. Oversprung balance.

Signed “Brockbanks, London” and numbered “5405”.

MOVEMENT CONDITION : In very good condition and running well.

MOVEMENT SIZE : 4.5 mm between the plates. Top plate 36.5 mm. Dial plate 41 mm.

DIAL : Fine white enamel dial, in excellent condition with gold hands.
