Heavy graduated link silver watch chain and fob. Continental, probably German, around 1900.

The links at either end are marked as silver (800). The T bar has a maker’s mark (HP) and the large ring is unmarked.

The fob is marked ‘FRIEDRICH D. GROSSE ZUR ERINNERUNG AN DIE SCHLACHT BEI ZORNDORF 1758 – 1908’. This marks the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Zorndorf, fought by Frederick the Great during the Seven Years War.

A nice heavy chain, and interesting fob. In good condition with just slight wear to the fob which is silver plated (the base metal showing through a little).
