The movement is protected by a removeable gilt dustcap (English style) which is signed Jb. Chevalier, A Paris.

All in very good condition. Running well and repeating correctly.

DIAL : White enamel dial, signed as the movement.
In very good condition, with signs of well executed restoration on the edges at 12 and 6.

Nice 18th century fancy gilt hands.

Beautifully engraved and pierced to both back and bezel.

In excellent condition throughout and showing very little wear. The high dome crystal is good. The catch and catch button are fine and the bezel snaps shut correctly.

The small steel button on the bezel at 7 is a ‘pulse piece’ allowing the repeat to be silent but vibrating, by pressing the button during the repeat. This mechanism is intact and functions correctly.

The bell is in good condition and strikes with a clear chime.
