A late 18th century Paris verge in a fine gold and beautifully painted enamel case, with crystal set bezel and back. All in fine condition.
MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with engraved and pierced balance bridge, large silver regulator disk, four round pillars and blued steel screws.
Signed “Dutertre A Paris” and numbered 4491.
In excellent condition and running well.
DIAL : Original signed white enamel dial.
In excellent condition, with just a few very light marks.
Good matching crystal set hands.
CASE : A beautiful gold case in fine condition. The case tests as high carat gold and has tiny French gold marks on the stem.
The bezel and back are set with white crystals. The bezel is sprung, so flips open when the stem is depressed. The high dome crystal is good.
The case is in very good condition, with no wear to the gold and no crystals missing. The enamel plaque is almost perfect with no restoration and just some light scratches.
