Unusual half hunter style pair cased verge, with good silver cases, all in good overall condition.
MOVEMENT : Signed (BAKER) and numbered (5233) gilt brass verge movement, with four round pillars with engraved and pierced balance cock. Bosley type regulator.
The movement is in good condition and is running.
DIAL : A fine white enamel half hunter dial, with inner and outer chapter rings.
In excellent condition, with just a few light scratches and a small chip right on the edge at 5.
Very fine half hunter style matching minute and hour hands, in excellent condition.
INNER CASE : Silver, hallmarked for Birmingham, 1814, maker SP.
In very good condition throughout. The hinge is fine and the bezel snaps shut. The small crystal is fine, and appears to be original.
OUTER CASE : Silver with matching hallmarks to the inner.
Again in very good condition. The catch and hinge are fine and the case snaps shut securely, though the catch button has worn down.
The case maker is Samuel Packwood on Coventry.
