The movement is in good condition, and is running well and repeating correctly.
DIAL : Fine white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds.
In excellent condition.
Blued steel Breguet style hands
CASE : The 18ct. gold case has engine turning to the bezel, band and back. The inner gilt cuvette is signed ‘Capt & Freundler A GENEVE’ and numbered (542).
The gold back of the case is stamped with the movement number (542) and an 18ct. gold mark.
The case is in good condition, with just some wear to the engine turning on the shoulder of the back and band, and some very small bruises to the band. The gold bow shows a little wear from a hanging chain.
All hinges are fine and the bezel, back cover and cuvette all close correctly. The crystal is also fine.
Capt & Freundler are listed in Geneva between 1790 and 1829.
