MOVEMENT : Gilt rack lever movement, with engraved bell shaped balance cock, diamond endstone, polished steel escape wheel, four round pillars, and clean blued screws. Signed (Willm. Watson, Strand) and numbered (149).

The movement is protected by a removable gilt dustcap.

This movement is in good condition, with just a few light scratches (mainly around the pillar tops) and a replaced screw at the endstone. Running well.

INNER CASE : 18ct gold, with nice clear London hallmarks for 1809, maker’s mark IG.
In generally good condition, with some wear to the bow, two small bruises to the back and some scratches around the catch. The bezel snaps shut correctly, and the high dome bull’s eye crystal is fine.

OUTER CASE : 18ct. gold pair case with clear matching hallmarks to the inner. (matching hallmarks also on the bezel). Again in good condition throughout, with just some light scratches and a little wear to the hinge, though the case snaps shut correctly.
