A gold, jump hour, cylinder watch, with very stylish silver dial.
MOVEMENT : Gilded cylinder movement. A few scratches to the gilding, but otherwise in good condition, and running well.
DIAL : A beautiful, engine turned silver, asymmetrical dial, signed under the hour window. A few light marks but in overall very nice condition. Blued steel hands.
CASE : Slim, rose gold case, engine turned to the back and bezel. The gilt brass cuvette is signed, numbered (1813) and engraved as follows : ‘ECHAPPEMENT A CYLINDRE QUATRE TROUS EN RUBIS’. The inside of the outer cover is marked with the serial no. (1813) and has 18 carat Swiss gold marks. The engine turning is a little worn, and there is a short split (2 mm) from the neck on the back, but otherwise the case is fine. The hinge are good and the covers close tightly. The crystal has one tiny chip, on the inside, at the bezel at 3.
