A beautiful London verge, in a fine gold case with a beautiful enamel bezel and back.

MOVEMENT : Fine quality, gilt verge movement in excellent, clean condition and working well. Signed “UPJOHN, New Bond Street, London” and numbered (576). Large diamond endstone, blued screws and a portrait engraved on the neck of the balance cock.

DIAL : The white enamel dial is in very good condition with no repairs and just a few light scratches, mainly around the winding aperture. Breguet type hands.

CASE : Gold, with blue and white enamelled bezel and border to the blue guilloche enamel back panel. The case is in excellent condition, with just a few light scratches on the surface of the back panel. The high dome crystal is fine. The hinges and catch are all good, and the case snaps shut nicely. The bezel springs open when the button on the stem is pressed.

The movement is wound, and the hands set, by the beautiful gold key.
