Sold

MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with well engraved and pierced balance cock and plate. Blued screws and silver regulator disk. Signed ‘Will. Noyes, LONDON’. Very good original condition, with the gilding still bright, and running well.

DIAL : 38 mm. Silver champleve, in nice condition. Blued steel beetle and poker hands.

INNER CASE : 44.25 mm, silver, no hallmarks but maker’s mark WN. The hinge is fine and the case closes nicely. The high dome crystal is fine. The silver case is in very good condition although the stem has been reattached and the bow looks a little later.

OUTER CASE : 50 mm, silver, matching maker’s mark to the inner. The hinge and catch are fine and the case snaps shut nicely. Overall good condition though with an old repair to the inside of the bezel.

William Noyes is listed in London from 1707.
