Very large Georgian silver pair cased verge.

MOVEMENT : Signed and numbered (447). Gilded verge movement with engraved balance cock. Good original condition and running well.

DIAL : White enamel. Good condition except for some very light surface scratches and a small chip, right on the edge at 4.

INNER CASE : London hallmarks for 1818 and maker’s mark CT?. Very good condition with just a few small bruises on the back and a small dent on the bezel at 4. The high dome bull’s eye crystal is perfect. The hinge is fine and the case snaps shut nicely.

OUTER CASE : Matching hallmarks to the inner. The silver is in very good condition, with just a couple of tiny bruises, but the catch button has worn away. The hinge is fine and the case snaps shut nicely.
