MOVEMENT : Good gilded movement with round pillars and pierced and engraved balance cock. The movement is signed “John Watts” and dated “1779”. It is running well.
DIAL : The white enamel dial is about 34.5 mm in diameter. It is in very nice condition with just some light surface scratches but no hairlines, chips or repairs.
INNER CASE : The hinge has one sleeve missing and the case doesn’t snap shut. The high dome crystal is in good condition with just a couple of small chips right on the bezel. The bow and pendant are fine and the case is in good condition with no dents. The gilding is complete on the inside and worn on the sides and pendant.
OUTER CASE : Diameter 45mm. The catch and release button are fine and the case snaps shut nicely. The gilding is evenly worn down to the brass.
