MOVEMENT : The gilded movement has round pillars and an engraved and pierced balance cock. The movement is signed (Morton, LONDON) and numbered (3750). It is running well.

DIAL : The white enamel dial is about 35 mm in diameter. It is in reasonable condition with three hairlines radiating from the centre and a repair on the edge at 3 o’clock.

INNER CASE : Full hallmarks for London, 1780, maker WK. The hinge is in good condition, though the case doesn’t snap shut. High dome bull’s eye crystal in good condition. The bow and pendant are fine but with the usual repaired join to the case. The silver is in good condition with just one bruise on the back but no serious dents, bad scratches or excessive wear.

OUTER CASE : Diameter 47mm. Matching hallmarks to the inner. Again the hinge is good and the catch is intact although the button is worn down. The silver is in good condition with just some bruises on the back but no cracks or repairs.
