MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with finely engraved and pierced balance cock and engraved plate. Signed and numbered (4044). Round pillars. A few scratches, but in generally good condition and running well.
DIAL : White enamel dial in good condition, with just one scratch from 7 towards the centre, but no hairlines. Fine matching gold hands (the base of the minute has been repaired).
INNER CASE : Silver hallmarks for London, 1800, maker’s mark rubbed. In very good condition throughout. The hinge is fine and the bezel closes well. The high dome bull’s eye crystal has a few small scratches but otherwise fine.
OUTER CASE : Silver pair case with matching hallmarks to the inner. The hinge and catch are fine and the case closes correctly. In overall very good condition, though the catch spring is a replacement.
