A fine quality, heavy, early Liverpool rack lever watch.
MOVEMENT : Rack lever movement, fully signed and numbered (35593). Diamond endstone, blued screws and stop/start lever. All in good original condition and running well. The movement is protected by a removable gilt dustcap.
DIAL : White enamel, with subsidiary seconds dial. In perfect condition, except for just one light hairline across the edge at 6.
CASE : Silver. Hallmarks for Chester, 1821, maker IW., and with movement serial number. Gold hinges. Milled around the band and plain back. A little wear around the band but in very good overall condition. The crystal has one tiny chip right on the bezel.
