Inner interior diameter at hinge : 39.5 mm.
Inner interior depth to inner rim : 13.5 mm.
INNER CASE : Silver.
Hallmarks for silver, Birmingham 1795, maker’s mark HH.
There are a few light bruises to the back, but otherwise all in good condition. The bezel snaps shut and the high dome crystal is fine.
OUTER CASE : Silver.
Hallmarks and maker’s mark matching the inner.
The silver is again in good condition with just a couple of small bruises on the back near the neck. The hinge and catch are fine and the case snaps shut, but the catch button has worn down.
The case maker is probably Henry Harding of Coventry.
