Finely engraved bridges and polished steel clicks and ratchets. Blued steel screws.

The movement is in very good condition, and is running well and repeating correctly.
DIAL : This is a beautifully painted polychrome oval enamel dial, with flowers and symbols of plenty to the top, and cherubs and doves at the bottom.
The dial is in very good condition, with some very small nibbles right on the edge and a short crack across the edge at the opening catch,
Very fine matching gold hands.
CASE : The oval silver case has no maker’s marks. Both bezels are engraved with leaves, and the panel of the back shows a beautifully engraved monogram (CB?).
The case is in very good condition. All hinges are good and the bezel closes correctly. The crystal is fine.
The firm of Meuron et Companie were in Paris and Geneva around 1790, so this watch could be French or Swiss.
