Silver pair cases
Verge movement

Sold

MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with engraved and pierced balance cock, blued screws and large silver regulator disk. Signed (Benjn. Burge, London) and dated AD. 1813. Four round pillars. Clean movement, complete and running.

DIAL : White enamel dial in good condition, but with some short cracks between 11 and 12. This dial is a replacement and is glued to the dial plate rather than pinned.

Nice matching gold hands.

INNER CASE : Silver hallmarks for London, 1812, maker’s mark IR. The silver is in excellent condition, though the bezel doesn’t snap shut. The crystal has no cracks or chips, but does have some surface scratches.

OUTER CASE : Silver pair case with matching hallmarks to the inner.

There is just one tiny dent on the back, but otherwise perfect condition. The catch is fine and the bezel snaps shut correctly
