MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with engraved and pierced balance cock and engraved plate. Signed and numbered (9229). Four round pillars. The fusee ratchet is a little worn and occasionally slips a small amount when winding, but it does wind fully. In good overall condition and running well.

DIAL : White enamel dial in good condition, with some light scratches, and one deeper across the bottom from 4 towards 6. No repairs. A small chip right on the edge at 3. Nice matching gold spade hands.

INNER CASE : Silver hallmarks for London, 1786, maker’s mark IR. In good condition though the stem and bow are replacements. One light bruise at the winding aperture. The hinge is fine and the bezel closes well. The high dome bull’s eye crystal is fine.

OUTER CASE : Silver pair case with matching hallmarks to the inner. There are some bruises to the back, and the catch and catch button are missing. The hinge is fine.
