MOVEMENT : Gilded verge fusee movement, with nicely engraved and pierced balance cock. Blued steel screws and regulator disk. Signed and numbered (8504). The calendar work motion wheels are complete, and function correctly. All in good original condition, and running well.

DIAL : White enamel, in good condition, with just one light short hairline across the bottom at 6, and a small flake at the centre hole. No repairs.

INNER CASE : Silver, hallmarked for Birmingham, 1827, maker’s mark CR. Very good condition throughout. The high dome bull’s eye crystal is fine. The hinge and catch are fine and the case closes properly.

OUTER CASE : Silver, with matching hallmarks to the inner. Good condition with just some light bruises on the back. The hinge and catch are fine and the case closes correctly, but the catch button is worn.
