Interesting and rare motto dial.

MOVEMENT : Gilded verge fusee movement, with well engraved and pierced balance cock. Signed and numbered (111). All in good original condition and running well.

DIAL : Unusual white enamel dial, 42 mm in diameter. Marked with the motto “GOD SAVE YE KING” in place of numerals.
One flake at the centre hole, but otherwise in perfect condition. Gold hands.

INNER CASE : Silver, 47.5 mm in diameter. Hallmarked for London, 1803. Maker’s mark TC. Excellent condition throughout. Good high dome bull’s eye crystal with no damage. The hinge and catch are fine and the case closes properly.

OUTER CASE : Silver, 54.5 mm in diameter. Matching hallmarks to the inner. Good condition except for a spilt to the edge of the back (about 1,5 cms) and the catch button has worn down. The hinge is fine and the case closes nicely.
