An early English half hunter with unusually large window and very attractive movement.

MOVEMENT : Fully signed and numbered (171). Gilded verge movement with unusually engraved and pierced balance cock. Excellent original condition and running well. There are two small unused holes on the edge of the top plate which may originally have had screwed in posts holding a removable dustcap.

DIAL : White enamel. Good condition with just surface scratches and a little wear to the paint work but no repairs.

CASE : London hallmarks for 1811, maker TCRC. In good condition throughout with just a few tiny dents and some scratches on the edge of the bezel to the right of the stem.

The unusually large half hunter high dome crystal is fine.
