A large London silver pair cased watch, with a verge movement and “name” dial.

MOVEMENT : Gilded verge fusee movement, with engraved and pierced balance cock with pink coloured endstone. Signed and numbered (406). It is in good condition and is running well.

DIAL : Fine white enamel, 45 mm in diameter, with the name “CAST BRANGWIN’ in place of numbers. Perfect condition except for one small repaired chip on the edge at 6. Unmatched gold hands (slight damage to hour).

INNER CASE : Silver, 48.5 mm in diameter. Hallmarked for London, 1801. Maker’s mark IB. Excellent condition throughout. Good high dome crystal with no damage. The hinge and catch are fine and the case closes properly.

OUTER CASE : Silver, 56 mm in diameter. Matching hallmarks to the inner. Hinge is fine and the case closes although the catch spring and catch button are replacements (the button is a little flat). The silver is again in very good condition throughout.
