MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with extensively engraved and pierced balance cock and plate. Blued screws and regulator disk. Fully signed, numbered (2899). Good condition, with the gilding still bright, and running well.

DIAL : White enamel dial, in very good condition with a small chip at the centre and a very light hairline running through the centre.

INNER CASE : Silver, hallmarked for Birmingham, 1811, maker’s mark WR. The hinge is fine and the case closes nicely. The high dome bull’s eye crystal is fine. The silver case is in good condition except for the stem which is very worn. The bow is a replacement.

OUTER CASE : Silver, matching hallmarks to the inner. The hinge is fine, though the catch is absent. Otherwise in good condition throughout with just one small dent on the bezel.
