MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, fully signed (Higgs y Evans, LONDRES) and numbered (14896). Engraved and pierced balance cock and unusual, highly decorative pillars. The movement is protected by a white metal removable dustcap, which is also signed and numbered. All in good original condition and running well.

DIAL : 36 mm, signed white enamel. Nice condition but with 3 light hairlines radiating from the centre. No repairs.

INNER CASE : 41.5 mm. London hallmarks for 1788 and maker’s mark IR, and stamped with the movement serial number (14896). Excellent condition with just a little wear to the top of the pendant. The hinge is fine and the case snaps shut. The high dome bull’s eye crystal has one short scratch but no chips or cracks.

OUTER CASE : 50 mm. Matching hallmarks to the inner. Excellent condition with just some wear to the catch button. The hinge, catch and button are fine and the case snaps shut.
