MOVEMENT : Signed (Giebicke, Augspurg) gilt brass verge movement, with four square pillars, beautifully engraved and pierced silver balance cock and ruby coloured endstone. In good, original condition. Complete and running well.

DIAL : 37.4 mm. Silver champleve dial, engraved “Aug Spurg” in very good condition.

INNER CASE : 42.75 mm. No maker’s mark.. The hinge is complete but has been repaired. The case closes and snaps shut. Other than the repair to the hinge, the case in in very good condition. The high dome crystal is fine.

OUTER CASE : 55.25 mm. Silver rims and pins, with brass back, covered with red leather. Good overall condition with a few small pieces of the leather missing and some pins absent. The hinge and catch are fine and the cae closes nicely.
