MOVEMENT : The verge movement is signed and numbered (17279). It is in good condition and is running well.
DIAL : The wonderful large cream enamel dial is about 45.5 mm in diameter. It has the name “HENRY DOUGLAS” spelt out in place of numbers. There are a few very light surface marks but it is virtually mint.
INNER CASE : Hallmarked for London, 1825, maker SS. The hinge and catch are fine and the case closes properly. The silver is in good condition with no repairs or damage other than some light wear and minor bruises. The high dome bull’s eye crystal is also fine with no damage or significant scratches.
OUTER CASE : Matching hallmarks to the inner. The hinge and catch are fine and the case snaps shut but the button has worn away. There are a few very small bruises on the back but the silver is in generally very nice condition.
