MOVEMENT : Signed ‘Providence, London’ and numbered 5419.

MOVEMENT CONDITION : Complete, except for the balance staff which is broken and one screw missing from the top plate. Otherwise complete, though very dirty with a little rust.

The motion wheels are present.

MOVEMENT SIZE : 5.5 mm between the plates. Top plate 41 mm. Dial plate 42.5 mm. Dial false plate 45.5 mm.

DIAL : A very unusual white enamel dial, with the centre very well painted with a monochrome pastoral scene. Three hairlines from the centre and chips around the central aperture.

The hands are absent.
