MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with engraved and pierced balance cock and engraved plate. Signed and numbered (397). Four square pillars. In very good original condition and running well.

DIAL : White enamel dial in very good condition, with just 2 flakes off the edge (one at 12 and a longer one at 3). Nice original 18th century steel beetle and poker hands.

INNER CASE : Silver hallmarks for London, 1759, maker’s mark IM. In fine condition throughout. The high dome bull’s eye crystal and hinge are fine and the bezel closes correctly.

OUTER CASE : Silver pair case with matching hallmarks to the inner. There are a few small bruises to the back, but otherwise good condition. The hinge, catch and catch button are fine and the bezel snaps shut correctly.
