A very large Swedish verge, in a fine gilt case.

MOVEMENT : Gilded movement with round pillars, and engraved and pierced balance bridge. The movement is signed and numbered (691). It is in very good original condition, with the gilding still bright and no significant scratches. Running well.

DIAL : Wonderful large white enamel dial, in very good condition, with no repairs. A few surface scratches, the worst half way between the centre and 4. Nice gilt beetle and poker hands.

CASE : Gilt brass with no maker’s marks. Engined turned engraving on the bezel and back. Very nice condition with no damage. The bezel snaps shut nicely. The gilding is complete on the inside and evenly worn on the outside. The bow is a replacement.
