MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with engraved and pierced balance cock. Signed and numbered (21120). Good condition, with the gilding still bright, and running well.

DIAL : Cream enamel dial, in good condition with no repairs but three light hairlines running from the centre to 2, 7 and 9.

INNER CASE : Silver, hallmarked for London, 1845, maker’s mark JH. The case snaps shut nicely and the silver is in very good condition with just a few scratches, one small bruise on the back and some wear to the bow. The small half hunter crystal is fine.

OUTER CASE : Silver, matching hallmarks to the inner. The hinge is fine but the catch is absent. A few light scratches and bruises on the back but in generally nice condition.
