Sold

MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with very well engraved and pierced balance cock. Blued screws and regulator disk. Fully signed and numbered (985). Good condition and running, though fast (gaining about seven minutes per hour).

DIAL : White enamel dial, in quite good condition. Some surface scratches and a small chip at the centre aperture but no hairlines or repairs. This dial is a little later, probably nearer to 1800.

INNER CASE : Silver, hallmarked for London, 1768, maker’s mark HB. The hinge is fine and the case closes nicely. The high dome crystal is in good condition. The silver is in good condition except for one crease on the right hand side of the back and the pendant has been reattached.

OUTER CASE : Silver, hallmarks matching the inner. The hinge and catch are fine and the case snaps shut nicely.

All in very nice condition.
