MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, fully signed and numbered (558).

CONDITION : The power train from mainspring to escape wheel seems fine. The balance and staff also seem ok, with pivots intact, but the bush on the balance cock looks like a replacement and is incorrectly positioned. No hairspring.

DIAL : 36.5 mm. White enamel dial, in reasonable condition with just a small flake on the edge at 3 and a repair around the top of the centre hole.

INNER CASE : 42.5 mm, silver, hallmarked for London, 1784. maker’s mark TG?. The hinge is fine and the case closes nicely. Good high dome bull’s eye crystal with no damage. Engraved initials on the back “IA”. Excellent condition throughout except for wear to the top of the pendant.

OUTER CASE : 49.75 mm, silver, hallmarks matching the inner. The hinge and catch are fine, with wear to the catch button. One small dent on the bezel near the catch but in overall good condition.
