MOVEMENT : Signed (Jos. Kirk, Nottingham. Gilded verge movement with beautifully engraved and pierced balance cock. Good original condition and running well.

DIAL : 36.5 mm, white enamel. Very good condition with no hairlines, cracks or repairs. Just some scratches, the worst just below the centre. Original 18th century blued steel beetle and poker hour hand but later replacement minute hand.

INNER CASE : 44 mm. No hallmarks or maker’s mark. There is some wear to the hinge, the bow is worn and the pendant has been reattached, but overall good condition. The high dome bull’s eye crystal is fine.

OUTER CASE : 52 mm. Again no hallmarks or maker’s mark. Very good overall condition. The hinge, catch and catch button are fine. The catch spring has been replaced.
