Gold case
Cylinder quarter repeating movement

Sold

MOVEMENT : Very high quality, frosted gilt cylinder movement. It incorporates an hour/quarter repeating function which is activated by pushing down the stem. The repeater strikes two gongs, with one chime for the hours and two for the quarters. The repeating function can be disabled by a slide button on the side of the case.

Both watch movement and repeating function are working well.

DIAL : The silver engine turned dial is about 53mm in diameter. It is in good condition, with just a few marks on the central engine turned area, but otherwise perfect. The mineral crystal is fine

CASE : The substantial engine turned gold case is 57mm in diameter (excluding pendant etc.) and weighs 100gms (including the movement). There are no hallmarks on the case but it tests as high carat gold. It is fully signed on the inner cover – MARTIN, RUE ST. HONORE, NO 118, A PARIS.

All hinges and catches are fine and both covers (and bezel) snap closed nicely.
The case is in very good condition with no damage, repairs or excessive wear.
