MOVEMENT : Nicely gilded movement with round pillars and engraved balance cock. The movement is simply signed “Rea” and numbered (12182). It is running well.
DIAL : The white enamel dial is about 42.5 mm in diameter. It is in good condition with just two light hairlines, one running around the edge from 9 to 12 and the other running out from the centre towards 11. No repairs.
INNER CASE : Full hallmarks for London, 1809, maker TCRC. The hinge is in good condition and the case closes nicely. High dome bull’s eye crystal in good condition. The bow and pendant are fine without the usual repaired join to the case. The silver is in good condition with just 2 small dents on the back.
OUTER CASE : Diameter 53mm. Matching hallmarks to the inner. Again the hinge is good. The catch and release button are intact although the button is worn down. The silver is in good condition with just one small dent on the back near the catch rivet.
