Silver pair cases
Verge movement

Sold

MOVEMENT : Nicely gilded movement with round pillars and engraved and pierced balance cock. The movement is signed and numbered (28927). It is running well.

DIAL : The white enamel dial is about 39.5 mm in diameter. It is in good condition with just some light surface scratches and some fading of the numbers around 5 and 6. No repairs.

INNER CASE : Full hallmarks for London, 1795, maker RP. The hinge is in good condition and the case closes nicely. High dome bull’s eye crystal in good condition. The bow and pendant are fine but with the usual repaired join to the case. The silver is in good condition with just a few light bruises on the back.

OUTER CASE : Diameter 52.5mm. Matching hallmarks to the inner. Again the hinge is good. The catch and release button are intact although the button is worn down. The silver is in good condition with just one small dent on the back.

The back is nicely engraved with the monogram which I think reads “GB”.
